ISTANBUL
An Israeli airstrike in eastern Lebanon killed four people, including two children, the state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported on Thursday.
The strike came without prior warning and targeted a house in the town of Mashghara.
Regional tensions have escalated due to the US and Israeli attacks on Iran that started on Feb. 28. Tehran has since launched retaliatory attacks against Israel and regional countries including those in the Gulf that host US bases.
Israel has also expanded its offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon, where a ceasefire was reached with the group in late 2024.
