Gulf countries and Jordan on Saturday condemned “Iranian” attacks targeting several countries in the region, and warned of serious consequences.

In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry said the kingdom “condemns and denounces in the strongest terms the blatant Iranian aggression and the flagrant violation of the sovereignty” of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and Jordan.

The ministry affirmed Saudi Arabia’s “full solidarity and standing alongside the brotherly countries,” adding that the kingdom would place “all its capabilities” at their disposal in support of any measures they take in response.

It also warned of the “grave consequences of continued violations of state sovereignty and the principles of international law.”

The statement called on the international community to condemn the attacks and to take “all firm measures to confront Iranian violations that undermine the security and stability of the region.”

In a statement, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned what it described as the targeting of Qatari territory by Iranian ballistic missiles, calling it a “flagrant violation” of its national sovereignty and a direct threat to its security and territorial integrity.

The ministry said Qatar “retains its full right to respond to this targeting in accordance with international law and in a manner proportionate to the nature of the attack,” stressing that such actions contradict “the principles of good neighborliness and cannot be justified under any pretext.”

The ministry added that Qatar has long advocated dialogue with Iran and consistently promoted peaceful dispute resolution, warning that renewed attacks on its territory “do not reflect goodwill and threaten the foundations of mutual understanding.”

It also condemned violations of the sovereignty of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Bahrain, affirming Qatar’s full solidarity with those countries.

Separately, Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry condemned what it described as an “Iranian attack” targeting Kuwaiti territory earlier Saturday, calling it a “blatant violation” of its sovereignty, airspace, international law, and the UN Charter.

The ministry affirmed Kuwait’s “full and inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter,” adding that Kuwaiti air defenses had successfully intercepted the attack in accordance with established operational procedures and rules of engagement.

It warned that continued military escalation risks undermining regional security and stability.

In a statement, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry said it condemns “in the strongest terms the Iranian attack on Jordanian territory with ballistic missiles,” as well as attacks targeting the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait.

The ministry affirmed Jordan’s “absolute solidarity” with neighboring countries and stressed that Amman would continue working with regional and international partners to ease tensions, urging “restraint and reliance on diplomatic solutions and dialogue” to preserve regional stability.

In a statement, the UAE Foreign Ministry also affirmed its “full solidarity and unwavering support” for countries affected by the attacks, and warned that continued violations threaten regional and international security as well as global economic and energy stability.

The ministry reiterated its rejection of using regional territories as arenas for conflict and stressed that the UAE retains its “full and legitimate right to respond” in accordance with international law.

The UAE also expressed condolences to the family of a Pakistani national killed in the attacks, emphasizing that targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure is “unequivocally condemned and strictly prohibited under international law and humanitarian principles.”

Israel and the US launched an attack against Iran early Saturday, citing alleged threats posed by the "Iranian regime." Video statements were released by both US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The attacks came as talks between Washington and Tehran over Iran’s nuclear program had been ongoing under Oman’s mediation. A new round of talks in Geneva ended on Thursday.

Israel also initiated a 12-day war on Iran last June, with the US joining later and bombing three Iranian nuclear sites.
