Explosion rocks railway track in Russia's Pskov region
Governor Mikhail Vedernikov says incident caused no casualties

An explosion occurred on a railway track near Plusa station in Russia's Pskov region on Friday, its governor said, with no casualties reported.
"This morning an explosion took place on the railway tracks not far from Plusa station. No one was injured. There has been no derailment of a train," Mikhail Vedernikov said on Russian social media platform Max.
He said emergency services were working at the scene of the incident.
Meanwhile, a road accident at a railroad crossing resulted in derailment of six fuel-carrying wagons and fire in the Smolensk region, according to a statement by the Emergency Situations Ministry.
Firefighting and recovery trains arrived at the site of the incident, and the blaze was being extinguished with the help of 40 firefighters and equipment, the ministry said.
