BELGRADE, Serbia

At least two people were killed after a small airplane crashed in Croatia, authorities said on Friday.

According to local media reports, the plane crashed shortly after takeoff from the airport in Pula. Firefighters and medical teams arrived on the scene immediately after the accident.

The aircraft was said to be registered in Germany.

Airport authorities have canceled all flights until further notice.
