Israel records over 3,800 new virus cases
Israel witnesses significant increase in daily number of infections
JERUSALEM
Israel registered 3,843 new infections from the coronavirus outbreak on Tuesday, according to the Health Ministry.
A ministry statement said Israel’s tally soared to 192,579 confirmed cases, including 1,273 deaths, and 140,743 recoveries.
The ministry said 653 patients remain in critical condition.
Israel witnesses a significant increase in the daily number of virus cases.
On Sunday, the Israeli government approved a lockdown, to take effect on Friday and lasts for three weeks, in an attempt to stem the spread of the pandemic.
