A UEFA Nations League group match Tuesday between Switzerland and Ukraine was canceled because of multiple positive coronavirus tests.

"Ukraine's UEFA Nations League fixture with Switzerland cannot take place. The Ukrainian national team has been quarantined following further positive COVID-19 tests," according to UEFA.

UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary body will decide the fate of the match.

Swiss authorities quarantined the entire Ukraine delegation and the Ukrainian football body said it did not have an eligible team for the match.

Ruslan Malinovskyi, Sergiy Kryvtsov, and Junior Moraes, and coach Ivan Bashtovy tested positive for the virus.

Three other players on the Ukraine squad -- Dmytro Riznyk, Eduard Sobol, and Yevgen Makarenko -- contracted the virus Monday.
