Turkish journalist's car set ablaze in Greece

KOMOTINI, Greece

The car of a journalist running a Turkish-language online newspaper in Greece's Western Thrace was set on fire Wednesday.

Ilhan Tahsin said his car was set ablaze by unidentified assailants in Komotini (Gumulcine).

He said the assailants hurled a molotov cocktail into his vehicle.

A police investigation was underway, Tahsin added.

Around 145,000 Turks live in Western Thrace.
