ANKARA
Turkish Industry and Business Association (Tusiad) and the Federation of German Industries (BDI) delegations met in Istanbul, Tusiad announced on Friday.
During the meeting, it is stressed that the Turkish economic stability and increasing business partnerships between Turkey and Germany were important for the European economy, the association noted.
In the meeting, several issues were negotiated such as Turkey-Europe relations, updating the Customs Union, industry 4.0 and renewable energy.
Delegations have also met with Turkish Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank and Trade Minister Ruhsar Pekcan on Thursday in the capital, Ankara.
The meeting was organized following Germany's Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas's visit to Ankara.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit the German capital, Berlin, at the end of the month.
