ANKARA

Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will pay an official visit to Japan on Nov. 4-6 upon the invitation of his Japanese counterpart, the Foreign Ministry said on Friday.

According to a statement by the ministry, Cavusoglu will meet Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono, as well as the Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Hiroshige Seko, President of the House of Councillors Chuichi Date and Speaker of the House of Representatives Tadamori Oshima during his three-day visit.

Cavusoglu will also be received by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

"During the meetings, our bilateral relations will be discussed and views on regional and international issues will be exchanged," the statement added.
