Turkey sympathizes with France over deadly Paris fire

ANKARA 

Turkey on Wednesday expressed its condolences to France over Tuesday’s deadly fire in Paris.

At least 10 people died and 37 others were injured when a fire broke out in a Paris apartment block on Tuesday.

In a statement, Turkish Foreign Ministry said they felt "great sorrow" over the incident.

Turkey shares France's grief over the incident, and offers its condolences to the families of the victims and wishes speedy recovery to the injured ones, it said.

The statement also noted that a Turkish student was slightly injured at the incident, was taken to a hospital and discharged after recovery.
