Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday confirmed that early parliamentary elections will be held in the country on Oct. 25.
Speaking to public broadcaster RTS, Vucic said he would announce on Wednesday his decisions to dissolve parliament, and call snap parliamentary elections.
"Elections will be held in Serbia on October 25," Vucic said.
The ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) earlier decided that Vucic will head the United Serbia alliance electoral list in the upcoming parliamentary elections, and nominated him for prime minister.
