Satirical cartoon puts spotlight on France's energy crisis
Controversial Frenchman causes stir with new poster mocking President Macron
PARIS
French billboard owner Michel-Ange Flori on Friday unveiled his latest poster parody on social media mocking President Emmanuel Macron.
"This winter, the French will shower in the Elysee," it reads, against a photo of the presidential palace, with an oversized shower head as its symbol.

"Note, however, that there is no soap in the palace," Flori commented on the poster.
He was mocking Macron's call for the public to limit their energy consumption, including reducing air conditioning and heating.
Flori's new poster, like the creations before it, is also to be shown on a billboard along a national road between Toulon and La Seyne-sur-Mer in the Var department.
The former advertiser is well known in France for mocking Macron.
His posters have also earned him convictions, including for public insult.
Last year, a French court ordered him to pay €10,000 ($10,016) for publishing posters depicting Macron dressed as Hitler.
