MOSCOW
The Ukrainian parliament appointed on Thursday Oleksiy Honcharuk as the country's new prime minister.
He was a nominee of the president's party The Servant of People.
Honcharuk won with 290 out of 450 votes.
At the age of 35, Honcharuk has become the youngest head of government in Ukrainian history.
He is a professional lawyer and has never served in the government before.
