A new suspect was arrested this week in the French Riviera as part of the investigation into a 2016 multi-millions jewelry robbery targeting American star Kim Kardashian West in Paris, local media reported on Friday.
The man is set to appear on Friday in front of an investigative judge in a Paris court, French daily Nice Matin reported. He might face preliminary charges.
At least ten people have already been charged in the case.
In October 2016, robbers, disguised as police, reportedly forced their way into the private hotel where Kardashian West was staying during Paris Fashion Week.
They stole from the star at gunpoint more than $10 million worth of jewelry, including a $4 million ring. The American reality TV star was left deeply shaken.
It is the biggest heist targeting an individual since twenty years in France, according to French daily Le Figaro.
