Marcelo terminated his contract with Olympiacos after five months with the Greek football club.

"The entire #Olympiacos family would like to thank@MarceloM12 for his cooperation and presence in Olympiacos," the team wrote on Twitter. "The time he stayed with us was brief but enough to create everlasting bonds. He knows that in Greece, in Piraeus he will always have friends!"

The 34-year-old Brazilian left-back previously played for Fluminese and Real Madrid.

Marcelo helped Real Madrid win five UEFA Champions League trophies and three Super cup titles during 15 seasons with the Spanish club.
