Fireworks fired toward presidential residence in Paris
3 police officers injured, taken to hospital

PARIS
Fireworks were launched at the official residence of French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, according to media reports.
Three police officers were injured and taken to the hospital when two people fired fireworks toward the Elysee Palace.
One suspect has been detained, while police are searching for a second suspect in the vicinity of the iconic Champs-Elysees Avenue.
The motive behind the incident remains unknown.
