Four suspects have been held for allegedly planning an attack on the Turkish Consulate General in Rotterdam city, according to the Netherlands Public Prosecutors’ Office on Monday.
In a statement, the office quoting the General Intelligence and Security Service of the Netherlands (AVID) said the suspects were Moroccan nationals.
Three of the suspects were arrested in the Netherlands while one was held in Belgium.
Last year, the AVID identified a 31-year-old Daesh linked suspect and announced that other suspects were planning an attack on the Turkish Consulate General.
At least 319 people have lost their lives in Daesh terror attacks in Turkey, where the terror organization has targeted civilians in a suicide bomb, rocket and gun attack.
