CSKA Moscow beat Real Madrid to finish EuroLeague 3rd

ANKARA 

CSKA Moscow dominated Real Madrid 94-70 on Sunday evening at Istanbul's Sinan Erdem Dome to finish Turkish Airlines EuroLeague at third place.

The third-place match started swimmingly for the Russian team as they easily went to the basket and finished the first quarter up by 13 points, 23-10.

CSKA Moscow managed to hold on to their lead at the second and third quarters as well, did not allow Real Madrid to get close or take the lead.

The fourth-quarter was only a formality for both teams, as CSKA triumphed against Real Madrid and finished the 2016-2017 season at third place.

Six players scored in double figures for CSKA Moscow. Kyle Hines led the way with 14 while Aaron Jackson and Nando de Colo each scored 13 points.

Jonas Maciulis and Gustavo Ayon scored 11 points for Real Madrid, but high scoring guard Sergio Llull was only able to score 7 points.

CSKA Moscow was eliminated on Friday by Olympiakos in Final Four matchup, Fenerbahce eliminated Real Madrid the same evening.

The final match between Turkish club Fenerbahce and Greece's Olympiakos will start at 9 p.m. local time (1800GMT) at Sinan Erdem Dome.
