Value of reserves increases 0.34% month-on-month in December
BEIJING
China's foreign exchange reserves reached $3.36 trillion at the end of 2025, according to official figures.
The State Administration of Foreign Exchange released foreign exchange reserve data for December 2025 period; the value of country's foreign exchange reserves rose by $11.5 billion from the previous month.
The value of reserves recorded a 0.34% increase compared to November.
A statement by the administration said the US dollar index fell in December, while global financial asset prices fluctuated, and the increase in foreign exchange reserves was due to the combined effect of exchange transactions and changes in asset prices.
