ISTANBUL

Five people were injured after being hit by a car in central Copenhagen on Wednesday, police said.

An elderly man lost control of his car and drove into a crowd of people, injuring five, police told local broadcaster TV2.

The condition of the injured was not immediately known.

At least four ambulances, two emergency vehicles and 10 police cars arrived at the accident site.
