Danish wind energy company Vestas received a 48-megawatt wind turbine order in western Greece, the company announced on Tuesday.
Vestas said the order adds to Vestas' 1.3 gigawatts of installed capacity in Greece.
Delivery of the order, which was received for the 48 megawatt Petalas wind park in western Greece, is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2017.
Vestas as a pioneer in the Greek wind market in 1986 and since then has installed around 1.3 gigawatts of wind turbines in Greece.
