Danish Vestas agreed with Mexico's state-owned Zuma Energia to supply wind turbines for the Reynosa III project in the state of Tamaulipas, in the northeast of Mexico, the company announced on Wednesday.
Vestas said that the total capacity of the project will be 443 megawatts.
'It should be emphazised that the project at this point does not constitute a firm and unconditional order as defined by Vestas,' Zuma Energia said.
'Vestas will disclose a company announcement if and when the conditional agreement translates into a firm and unconditional order,' it added.
