ISTANBUL

Import prices in the US increased by 0.1% in December on a monthly basis, the Bureau of Labor Statistics announced on Tuesday.

Prices for the country's exports advanced 0.3% month-on-month in December 2025, the bureau added.

"Over the past year, import prices were unchanged and export prices increased 3.1 percent," it stressed.

The consumer inflation rate was at 2.7% on a yearly basis and 0.3% on a monthly basis in December 2025 in the US.
