Türkiye's foreign trade deficit at $11.2B in August
Exports, imports totaled $21.3B and $32.5B in August, respectively

Türkiye’s international trade deficit was at $11.19 billion in August, up from $4.3 billion in the same month last year.
According to TurkStat figures released on Friday, the country's exports totaled $21.33 billion in the last month, up 13.1% on a yearly basis.
Türkiye's imports also rose 40.4% to $32.53 billion over the same period.
"Imports, excluding energy products and non-monetary gold, were $21.45 billion with a 16.6% increase in August 2022," TurkStat said.
In the first eight months, the country's exports and imports rose 18.2% and 40.7% to $165.6 billion and $239 billion, respectively.
The country's trade gap was at $73.4 billion in January to August, up 146.3% on an annually basis.
