Türkiye's Borsa Istanbul opens Friday up
BIST 100 index gains over 5 points in opening session

ANKARA
Türkiye's benchmark stock index Borsa Istanbul was up at Friday's open, rising 0.18%, or 5.29 points, to 2,873.74.
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate stood at 17.9626 as of 10.14 a.m. local time (0714GMT), versus 17.9520 at the previous close.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was down to 18.5068 from 18.5830, while a British pound traded for 21.8957 Turkish liras, down from 22.0190 at the previous close.
Brent crude oil was selling at around $99.83 per barrel.
