Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Wednesday at 7,855.06 points, a decline of 2.51% from the previous close.

Starting the day at 8,074.48 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 lost 202.36 points from Tuesday's close.


The price of an ounce of gold was $2,044.35, while Brent crude oil sold for around $75.52 per barrel as of 6.15 p.m. local time (1515GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 28.9303, the euro/lira exchange rate at 31.2625, and the British pound traded at 36.4445 liras.
