Türkiye's BIST 100 index ends Monday with gains
Benchmark index earns around 65.7 points on 1st transaction day of week

Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Monday at 11,038.32 points, up 0.6% from the previous close.
Starting the new week at 11,041.31 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 65.69 points from Friday's close.
The index's lowest value during the day was 11,004.74, while its daily high was 11,090.19.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 10.24 trillion Turkish liras ($252.4 billion), with a daily trading volume of 100.3 billion Turkish liras ($2.46 billion).
During the day, 72 stocks on the index rose and 25 fell compared to the previous close.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,349.40, while Brent crude oil sold for around $66.40 per barrel as of 6.40 p.m. local time (1540GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 40.7015, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was 47.2615, and a British pound traded for 54.6315 Turkish liras.
