Turkish stocks slightly up at opening session
BIST 100 index gains 0.35 points from previous close

Turkey's benchmark stock index opened at 1,420.94 points on Wednesday, rising 0.02% or 0.35 points from the previous close.
At Tuesday's close, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index was down 1.49% at 1,420.59 points, with a daily trading volume of 19.4 billion Turkish liras ($2.38 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 8.1600 as of 9.30 a.m. local time (0630GMT), from 8.1260.
The euro/Turkish lira exchange rate also increased to 9.7000, versus 9.6190, while one British pound traded for 11.2700 Turkish liras, down from 11.2890.
One barrel of Brent crude oil sold for around $62.90 as of 10 a.m. local time (0700GMT).
