Turkish stock exchange up at Tuesday's open
BIST 100 index up around 24.2 points
ISTANBUL
Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 12,650.59 points, up 0.19% or 24.24 points from the previous close.
On Monday, the BIST 100 fell by 0.57% to close at 12,626.35 points, with a daily transaction volume of 109.6 billion liras ($2.46 billion).
As of 11 am local time (0800GMT), exchange rates stood at 44.4790 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 51.0750 to the euro, and 58.8015 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,564.60 while Brent crude futures at $106.4 per barrel.
