Turkish stock exchange opens Friday on high note
BIST 100 index gains 15.33 points at opening bell

ISTANBUL
Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Friday at 9,930.00 points, rising 0.15% or 15.33 points from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 1.38% to close the day at 9,914.68 points, with a daily transaction volume of 101.7 billion liras ($2.8 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 36.2010 as of 9.50 a.m. (0650GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 37.8700, and the GBP/TRY traded at 45.4775.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,936.60 and the price of Brent crude oil was around $74.90 per barrel.
