Turkish stock exchange down at midweek's open
BIST 100 index decreases by 31 points at opening session

Türkiye's benchmark stock index BIST 100 opened Wednesday at 9,320.46 points, posting a decrease of 0.3% or 30.75 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 index was down by 3.15% to 9,351.22 points, with a daily transaction volume of 95 billion Turkish liras ($2.78 billion).
As of 10.10 a.m. (0710GMT), the exchange rates stood at 34.2145 for the US dollar against the Turkish lira, 37.8720 for the euro, and 45.5050 for the British pound.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,653.88, and the Brent crude oil traded at $74.95 per barrel.
