Turkish conglomerate Koc Holding saw $458 million (1.3 billion Turkish liras) in the first half of 2015, the company said in a statement on Friday.
Revenue was $11.31 billion (32.1 billion Turkish liras). Profit before taxes was $634.3 million (1.8 billion Turkish liras).
"We have improved both our production and productivity with an increase of capacity and employment that we ensured with our large-scale investments," Levent Cakiroglu, CEO of Koc Holding, said.
Cakiroglu said that the holding will give priority to enhancing innovative concepts, products and strategies to increase its competitivesness in world markets.
Koc Holding operates in the automotive sector, durable goods, food, retailing, energy, financial services, tourism, construction and IT industries.
The group owns home appliance-maker Arcelik. It also has joint ventures with Italy's Fiat and U.S.-based Ford Motor in vehicle production.
