ANKARA
Consumer prices index (CPI) and producer prices index (PPI) increased in 2012.
TurkStat, Turkey's statistical authority, said on Thursday that CPI rose 6.16 percent, and PPI rose 2.45 percent in 2012.
As for the monthly datas, CPI increased 0.38 percent, while PPI dropped 0.12 percent in December 2012, noted TurkStat.
According to 12-month average as of December 2012, annual inflation became 8.89 percent in consumer prices, and 6.09 percent in producer prices.
