The expectation for the year-end annual consumer price index (CPI) decreased to 7.38 percent in the survey of Turkish Central Bank for the second half of June. In the first term of June, the expectation was 7.47 percent.
Central Bank's survey is to detect the expectations of experts and professionals from the financial and real sectors. The survey is conducted twice a month and June's second half results were revealed Thursday.
In the survey for first half of June, the current account deficit expectation was 64.7 million USD and it decreased to 64.6 million USD.
Year-end expectation for USD exchange rate has dropped to 1.8091 Turkish lira. In first half of June, the expectation was 1.8114 Turkish lira.
Gross domestic product, which had been set as 3.7 percent in the first half of June, dropped to 3.6 percent in the second half survey of June.
