Turkish car rental venture appoints new global operations director

ISTANBUL

Yolcu360, a Turkish car rental venture, appointed Ferhat Uyanik as the firm's global operation director, a press release said on Monday.

Under CEO Umut Yildirim, Uyanik will manage the firm's activities, following the $6 million Seria A fund, which was received recently and will be used for global operations mostly, as a member of executive committee.

Uyanik, who has a successful career in travel technologies sector, will be responsible for creating new markets and expanding the firm's activities on the global scale, the statement said.

Uyanik has a Bachelor’s degree of tourism management from Turkey's Dokuz Eylul University.

He is experienced in business development and expanding markets with new agreements.

During the last six years of his career, Uyanik was in different positions in tourism venture Metglobal/Hotelspro.

Yolcu360 was the fastest-growing technology firm in 2020.
