A Turkish business delegation visited some towns around Syria's Aleppo province, including Azaz, Suran, Al-Rai, Mare and Sucu, to meet local officials and business-people.

"Turkey's industrial sector will be strengthened by Syrian business-people," said Harun Resit Badem, the chairman for Kilis province of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen Association (MUSIAD), in a statement on Monday.

During the visit, business-people from both countries assessed ways to build new business districts in Kilis and Syria.

Suran Mayor Ali Tamer Al-Seyh thanked Turkey for its support in all areas.

"Turkey does not see us as just refugees, but they support us like siblings."

Huseyin Dobel, the chairman of the chamber of commerce of Suran, said he hoped bilateral trade would continue.

The delegation also visited construction sites and plants in the region.

Muhammed Kenno, the chairman of the chamber of commerce in Azaz, said they cared about MUSIAD's investments in the region.
