LONDON
The inflation rate in Turkey is currently quite high the Turkish Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek remarked Thursday adding that his priority was to keep the rate at single digit levels.
Delivering a speech at the Financial Times “Investing in Turkey" conference in London, Simsek continued saying that the inflation rate needs to stay low to make sure Turkey's long-term growth outlook increases."
The aim the minister said was to keep inflation at 5 percent first of all and then to eventually get it under level.
