Turkey's benchmark stock index ended Tuesday up 1.22 percent to close at 93,173.27 points.
Opening the day at 92,627.61 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index went up 1,119.43 points from the previous close.

Stocks of energy firm Odas Elektrik were the top gainers for the second day in a row -- up 11.36 percent -- and shares of Turkish Airlines fell the most, going down 2.93 percent.
As of the daily close, the U.S. dollar/Turkish lira exchange fell to 5.4440, down from 5.4950 at Monday's close.
The euro/lira rate stood at 6.2270 at Tuesday's close, compared with 6.2960 at the previous close.
One British pound traded for 7.0150 Turkish liras, as the GBP/TRY exchange rate was 7.0760 at Friday's close.
In Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets, one ounce of gold was sold for $1,291 at the daily close, versus $1,296 at the previous close.
