Turkey’s defense systems producer ASELSAN on Thursday signed a deal with Denmark's Terma to collaborate on the production of electronic weapon systems for jet fighters, ASELSAN said in a statement.

The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding designed to create the framework for future collaboration.

The deal includes the transfer of ownership and intellectual property rights for Terma’s F-16 Modular Reconnaissance Pod.

“We look forward to combining Aselsan’s and our core capabilities to provide air forces with proven and reliable solutions,” Steen M. Lynenskjold , senior vice president of Terma, said.
