Turkey's economy will continue to grow in the second quarter of 2018, despite attacks on the nation's currency, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday.
Speaking in the Black Sea province of Gumushane, he stressed that Turkey will finish out 2018 with record growth.
"We won't let anybody deter us from our targets," he said.
Touching on tensions between Turkey and the U.S., he said that the issues can be solved through calm, negotiation, and diplomacy.
"Without these, everyone will find themselves on a one-street," he warned.
Previously, speaking in the Black Sea province of Bayburt, he called on Turkish citizens to convert their foreign exchange savings into liras.
"This will be my people's answer to those who declare economic war against us," he stressed.
