ANKARA
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim met Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif on Wednesday in Ankara, a source from the prime ministry said.
Turkey is willing to intensify further bilateral economic and business relations with Iran in trade, energy, and transportation areas, the source said on condition of anonymity.
Yildirim said Turkey and Iran have deep bilateral relations which the two countries are aiming at improving. Zarif said Iran has the same determination to maintain the close political dialogue.
Iranian foreign minister also met his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu and discussed recent topics including Syria and regional developments, the source said.
