The Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, Anton Siluanov announced on Monday that Russia will buy $2 billion worth of Eurobonds from Ukraine this week.
The Deputy Minister Of Finance, Anatoliy Myarkovsky confirmed that up until the end of this month, Ukraine plans to sell $2 billion Eurobond to Russia with two-year Eurobonds with a five percent yield.
During the visit of Ukraine President Viktor Yanukovych to Russia on December 17, President of Russia Vladimir Putin announced that Russia will buy $15 billion of Ukraine bonds as an economic support to the Ukraine. On December 23, Russia bought $3 billion out of the announced $15 billion Eurobonds.
