Russia limits grain exports to 25.5M tons
Restrictions come into effect Wednesday and are valid until June 30
MOSCOW
Under a decree passed last December, effective Wednesday, Russia has limited its grain exports to foreign countries to the amount of 25.5 million tons.
The restrictions will be valid until June 30, and do not apply to grain supplies to countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
The amount of 25.5 million tons is approximately equal to the usual volume of Russia's grain exports this time of year.
