ANKARA (AA) - August 5, 2012 - Polish Trade Counsellor in Ankara, Witold Prandota on Sunday said that the Turkish Airlines (THY) should not give up talks with Polish Airlines, LOT, and continue them.
Prandota's comments came after the THY recently changed its mind about buying 50 percent of the shares of LOT.
"Certain Asian countries have made offers to buy the LOT. The THY should not end talks with LOT and should continue negotiations," Prandota stressed.
On Turkey's EU bid, Counsellor Prandota said that Turkey's membership would be very beneficial for both sides.
