Minimum wages in Turkey to increase in July

ANKARA (AA)

Minimum wages in Turkey will be 803.68 Turkish Liras for those over 16 years old starting from July 1st. 

The wages determined by The Minimum Wage Determination Commission will be increased 4.4 per cent and be valid for the second term of the year. 

The increased wages will be 803.68 Turkish Liras for those over 16 years old while it will be 700.73 Turkish Liras for those under 16. 

Doormen, in addition,  will get 868.27 liras with the latest increase in wages.
