Istanbul Finance Summit to focus on trade wars

ANKARA

The 9th Istanbul Finance Summit (IFS'18) will be held under the theme of "Trade Wars and Financing Industries" on Sept.19-20.

Within the scope of the two-day summit, 19 sessions will be organized on several issues ranging from the big data to financial technologies.

The summit will be attended by several officials, economists, business-people, bankers and academics such as Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak, Technology and Industry Minister Mustafa Varank, President of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey Ali Fuat Taskesenlioglu, Prof. Baris Surucu of Middle East Technical University, general director of Turkey Wealth Fund Zafer Sonmez and CEO of private lender Isbank Adnan Bali.

Last year, the summit hosted over 1,150 participants from 27 countries.
