Shares of US-based semiconductor producer Intel jumped after a $2 billion investment deal with Japanese SoftBank.
The price increased more than 7.3% as of 1635GMT, after closing at $23.66 on Monday with a decline of 3.66%.SoftBank said Tuesday it signed an investment agreement with Intel, and would be buying $2 billion shares at $23 apiece.
