European stock markets closed Thursday with gains.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 1.91 points, or 0.42%, to finish at 453.98.
Italy's FTSE MIB was the best performer of the day by soaring 342 points, or 1.32%, to 26,217.
The UK's FTSE 100 added 16 points, or 0.21%, to end the session at 7,761.
Germany's DAX 30, meanwhile, increased 51 points, or 0.34%, to 15,132. France's CAC 40 gained 52 points, or 0.74%, to close at 7,096.
Spain's IBEX 35 increased 78 points, or 0.87%, to end the day at 9,035.
