ANKARA

European stock markets closed higher on Friday.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, was up almost 2 points, or 0.47%, to finish at 428.12.

The UK's FTSE 100 added 41 points, or 0.57%, to close at 7,348. Germany's DAX 30 rose 69 points, or 0.53%, to 13,166.

France's CAC 40 increased 46 points, or 0.75%, to 6,257.

Italy's FTSE MIB was the best performer of the day, gaining 320 points, or 1.52%, to end the day at 21,480.

Spain's IBEX 35 increased 54 points, or 0.68%, to finish at 8,124.
