Euro area posts $27.4B trade surplus in February
Exports rise 6.2% year-on-year, outpacing 5.7% increase in imports

ISTANBUL
The eurozone's international trade balance stood at €24 billion ($27.4 billion) in February, up from €21.7 billion in the same month of 2024.
According to Eurostat data released on Wednesday, the eurozone's exports totaled €248.7 billion, up 6.2% year-on-year in February, while imports totaled €224.7 billion, up 5.7%.
During the Jan-Feb period, exports totaled €480.9 billion, while imports stood at €456.1 billion.
On the EU side, the trade balance showed a €23 billion surplus in trade in goods in February, compared to €21.8 billion in February 2024; exports totaled €225.4 billion, while imports were €202.4 billion.
